Whimsical Brand Photoshoot for Bay Area Real Estate Industry Leader

It all started with Italian food and a glass of wine. My friendship with Brenda Chen began about a year ago when she asked me to go to dinner in the city. In such a short amount of time we shared so much about ourselves and our brands. I came to learn of her unique ability to create a sense of community, which has allowed her to form such a successful career as Head of Sales at Conventus Lending and as founder of SF Bay Real Estate Club.

When Brenda reached out to me to do a photoshoot for her brand I was ecstatic! I could not wait to tell her story through photography. While meeting with her to plan the photoshoot, she mentioned she wanted to keep the mood blissful and at peace, as well as maintaining a fun energy. We were fortunate enough to use one of her client’s properties in the city to begin the day. This property was so beautiful and I think we would have spent all day there if we could. The images taken here were definitely more professional, yet Brenda was able to add an inviting and warm energy. She used her laptop and phone as props to show her career in action, while adding a feminine and lighthearted touch with her attire. Brenda actually rented many of her outfits from Rent the Runway, which is common for my clients to do. Every outfit seemed like it was made for her!

After shooting at her client’s property, we moved on to a different location. What’s a better photoshoot location for an individual in real estate than a construction site? Brenda and I were able to find a construction site where she roamed around with a floor plan in hand. We then made our way to the Palace of Fine Arts for the next part of the photoshoot. Another thing I learned about Brenda is her love of reading, which was incorporated to show more of her personal brand. I photographed Brenda sitting barefoot by a pond creating the most perfectly whimsical images.

The last part of the photoshoot was all about freedom and being at ease, which is something that Brenda strives to help her clients achieve. She brought out her show stopping, white convertible and parked it by a great view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Brenda threw her arms in the air and exuded her zest for life. I had the best day working with Brenda and hope you can see how great of a person she is through these images!
