At Home Brand Photoshoot for Sequin Financial CEO Vrinda Gupta

Every girl knows just how important their credit card is. Entrepreneur, Vrinda Gupta, is not only striving for women to have access to equal credit, but helping pave the way for female financial leaders. After years of working for Visa, Vrinda decided it was time for her to start her own business that helps women be seen and ultimately get the credit they deserve. After being introduced by her childhood best friend, I was so pleased when I heard I would be working with Vrinda. I love the story of how she came to be the successful CEO she is now and her mission to empower women. While this brand photoshoot was a little different than usual, it was definitely one for the books!

Normally my clients and I start our day bright and early. However, Vrinda’s photoshoot started at around 6 pm, which actually made for a unique use of lighting. I made my way over to Vrinda’s home which was perfect for her brand. Her white couch and white wall space made it almost feel like we were in a professional studio. I started by snapping some headshots of Vrinda so she could use them for her website and some upcoming campaigns. She also sat on the couch for some shots and was a complete natural in front of the camera. After a few outfit changes, we moved to her bedroom for some working shots.

Vrinda posed at her desk and used a book and her laptop as props. Since we wrapped up the photoshoot at around 9 pm, we didn’t have as much natural light to work with. It was no problem at all and I was able to use strobe lights for her final images! Even though this photoshoot was done later in the day, it went so smoothly especially since Vrinda was so easy to work with. She is so inspiring as a female CEO and a great role model for all the women out there. I hope you enjoy these images of Vrinda!
