Will this work for large commercial clients?

It covers basic sales principles that can be used for all service based industries, but it won’t be a step-by-step guide for what you need exactly. I do not recommend using this guide step-by-step for any cases that have a lot of moving parts and require a custom proposal. This guide is perfect for brand photographers who work with personal brands, solopreneurs, small businesses, or any client that you have a set package built for.

Do I have to follow it step-by-step for it to work?

No, it’s designed to be a guide. I recommend the general flow of the call, but you don’t need to use the script word for word. However, I do add detailed conversational talking points and examples of how I address things on my own sales calls to give you a deeper understanding of the process.

What if I don’t have my packages & pricing setup yet?

In order to use this sales guide, you will want to have your services and pricing nailed down ahead of time. I recommend having a value based or package based pricing model versus hourly. For example, a half day of photography that includes X at $X rate.
