Apple Hill

When I was younger my parents used to take my sister and I to Apple Hill in the Fall.  Apple Hill is a little town near Placerville, California with several apple farms.  They are famous for their cider, donuts, and pies.  For a full list of recommendations on eating and drinking, I'd take a look at this article. 

Living in San Francisco it is rare for me to experience Fall weather since San Francisco is pretty much the same season year-round.  This past weekend we decided to take a family road trip up to Apple Hill for old times sake.  It's still beautiful and one of my favorite places to visit (and photograph) in the Fall.
